REVIEW- Rimmel Stay Matte liquid mousse foundation and pressed powder.

Shades: mousse: 100 Ivory
              Powder: 001 Transparent

Price: $10-$20.

When it comes to oil, I’m greasier than the fries-bucket at McDonalds, so I’m all about the matte foundations. I like this foundation and I like the powder too, but not… Together?

It seems ridiculous, they’re from the same line of products and all, they should be made for each other, or so I thought.

I still haven’t worked the foundation out. I don’t know wether it has good coverage or not because I think I’ve been using too much of it. It doesn’t blend fantastically well, I used a patting motion with a sponge to make it blend in, but upon applying the powder, it almost seemed to… Unblend what I had just blended.

The other thing I don’t really like is that it very obviously sits on top of my skin, not that id want it seeping into my pores but it’s literally just THERE, you can see it sitting like a layer on top of my skin. It looks to die for from a far, but don’t get too close.

I’ve used it for a few days now, some days have worked better than others. If I can work out the correct application, I’ll do an updated review, I could definitely have messed this up. I don’t know yet.

I’ve used the powder over many foundations, it’s long lasting and definitely keeps my face shine free for about 5 hours, then I just pat some more on.

I give the foundation alone a 6/10
I give the powder alone an 8/10

Disclaimer: I am not being paid to review any of these products. They were both bought with my own money, all opinions are my own.
